My name is Scott Emigh and I’m a freelance journalist and photographer from Sand Springs, Oklahoma. I primarily cover high school sports while also blogging on travel, events, and other area news.
I got my start in journalism as a sports stringer for the Sand Springs Leader in 2014 and soon started my own company, Sandite Pride News. I’ve written for the Leader and Tulsa World off and on and I also operate Oklahoma Disc Golf and Small Town Travel Guide.
I’m also an SEO specialist, writing for businesses across the country. I’m currently working on my first novel and looking for a publisher for a children’s book I wrote this year.
My wife, Charity, and I live in Tulsa with our cats, Jocy and Rusty, and dogs, Benji and Jordy.
