Virtual or In-Person Financial Coaching in Tulsa, Oklahoma
You Don't Need to Earn More Money. You Need a Plan for the Money You Have.
For most of my twenties I had no idea where my money was going. I didn't have a budget. I didn't have a savings account. I didn't have a plan. I was just reacting to whatever came at me financially and hoping it would somehow work itself out.
It didn't work itself out. It never does.
Part of the problem was income — I spent years in journalism, which I loved, but it wasn't going to build the kind of future I wanted. So I made a hard decision and pivoted my career to digital marketing.
That helped. But more money without a plan just means more money disappearing in new ways.
The real shift came when I got married and found out we were going to have a son. Suddenly the stakes were completely different. It wasn't just my financial situation anymore — it was my family's. That's when I finally sat down, looked at my numbers honestly, and got serious about building a real framework for our finances.
That was uncomfortable. But it was also the beginning of everything changing.
I'm not a licensed financial advisor and I'm not here to manage your investments or sell you anything. What I am is someone who built a financial framework from scratch, learned from every mistake along the way, and genuinely wants to help other people get there faster than I did. No get-rich-quick schemes. No complicated strategies that require a finance degree to understand. Just grounded, real-life advice for getting out of the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle and starting to build toward something.
What We Work On
Every financial situation is different but the fundamentals are usually the same. Here's where most people need the most help — and where I spend most of my time.
Building a Budget That Actually Works
Most budgets fail because they're built around what you think you should spend rather than what you actually spend. We start with an honest look at your real numbers — income, fixed expenses, variable spending, debt — and build a budget that reflects your actual life while moving you in a better direction.
Breaking the Paycheck-to-Paycheck Cycle
Living paycheck to paycheck isn't just a money problem — it's a stress problem, a relationship problem, and a confidence problem. We'll identify the leaks in your budget, build an emergency fund, and start creating enough margin in your finances that an unexpected expense doesn't send everything sideways.
Getting Out of Debt
Debt is the single biggest obstacle standing between most people and financial stability. We'll look at everything you owe, prioritize it strategically, and build a payoff plan that's aggressive enough to make real progress but realistic enough to actually stick to.
Planning for the Future
You don't have to have a lot of money to start thinking about the future. We'll talk about the basics — emergency funds, retirement contributions, savings goals — and build a simple roadmap for where you want to be financially in one year, five years, and beyond.
Your Complete Financial Picture
A real financial plan covers more than just your budget. We'll make sure you have the right insurance coverage in place — health, life, auto, home — so you're protected where you need to be without paying for things you don't. We'll also make sure you have a will in place and a clear plan for your spouse and kids in case something happens to you. Most people put this stuff off because it feels overwhelming. We'll work through it together so you can stop worrying about it.
Who This Is For
You're making decent money but have nothing to show for it at the end of the month.
You're a parent trying to stretch every dollar as far as it'll go.
You have debt that feels impossible to get ahead of.
You're approaching retirement and realizing you're not as prepared as you'd like to be.
You've never had a real budget and you're not sure where to start.
You just want someone to sit down with you and help you make sense of your finances without judgment.
How It Works
Financial coaching with me is straightforward. We meet for an hourly session — in person in the Tulsa metro or virtually — and we work through whatever you need most. No long-term commitment required. Come once, come monthly, come whenever you have a question or need a reset. You set the pace.
If you're already a life coaching client, financial coaching is included in your package. If you're coming specifically for financial help, here's how I price it.
Free Discovery Call — 30 Minutes: Let's talk about where you are and what you're trying to accomplish. No cost, no commitment.
Hourly Financial Coaching — $50/Hour: One-on-one sessions focused entirely on your financial situation. We'll work through budgeting, debt payoff, savings strategies, or whatever you need most. Book as many or as few sessions as you need.
Let's Build Your Plan
The hardest part is usually just getting started. If you're tired of feeling like money is something that happens to you instead of something you control — let's rewrite your story.
